We are very proud of the fact that the number of attacks on students and staff on campus are extremely low. However this doesn't mean that we are complacent and are always looking to keep our community informed with up to date information and advice.
By taking simple precautions and not putting yourself at risk i.e. by taking short cuts through isolated dark leafy lanes, you will further reduce the chances of becoming a victim.
Be aware of your surroundings if using your mobile phone on campus, they've been stolen by thieves who rode up behind the victim and snatched the phone. See the short clip produced by students on the Manchester Leadership Programme to highlight this type of theft.
