Brief
Refurbishment of the existing offices and training areas occupied by CEL and creation of an atrium as a focal point for the centre by installation of a glazed roof over an existing courtyard. Construction of the atrium involved the erection of a new steel structure and new windows and finishes to the walls of the former courtyard. The refurbished training rooms are well equipped with audio-visual aids to suit the varied training methods used by the centre and include provision of ventilation and cooling carefully designed to provide appropriate environmental conditions.
