Car Parking at the University
There are six car parks on campus with a mixture of permit and public parking.
Blue Badge Holders can park free of charge.
Each car park has a letter, corresponding to its position on the campus map (see link on the right).

- Aquatics / Booth Street East (Car Park B)
- Booth Street West (Car Park D)
- Cecil Street (Car Park E)
- Dilworth Street (Car Park F)
- Dover Street (Car Park G) Permit holders only

When special events are on (e.g. Graduation, weekday Open Days), parking is extremely limited.
We strongly recommend that to avoid disappointment, public transport is used to reach campus at these times, unless travelling by car is essential.
Blue Badge Holders can park free of charge. In order to access the disabled bays, please take a ticket on arrival and visit the Attendants lodge with your Blue Badge in order for the ticket to be validated, or use the intercom (where you may need to give details of your Blue Badge).
Car Park A: Charles Street Car Park, Manchester M1 3BB
Opening hours: 06:00-23:45 Monday to Friday / 06:00-22:45 Saturday and Sunday

Levels 7 – 14 are staff / permit parking only. Levels 1 – 6 are public parking, operated by Apcoa.
Opening hours: 0600 – 2400, 7 days per week

Number of spaces: 400 for public parking; 582 for permit parking

Car Park D: Booth Street West Car Park, M15 6AR (Access via Higher Cambridge Street)
