The Estates Partnering Team are part of the Directorate of Estates & Facilities. We operate flexibly across Faculties and Professional Services to identify and address core service needs. This cross-boundary approach strengthens connections with colleagues across the University, fostering a more integrated and responsive service model.

Through strong, transparent communication, the team builds strategic relationships and promotes collaboration inside and outside the University. By making engagement easier, faster, and more effective, we enable informed strategic and operational decision-making. Our expert guidance drives meaningful outcomes that align with the University's broader goals.

The Estates Partnering Team are your first point of contact for any queries related to the University’s estate, facilities, environment, and service provision. Whether it’s a quick fix or a major development, we are here to offer advice, coordinate support, and ensure the right people are involved at the right time.

🛠 What We Do

We support a wide range of services, both strategic and operational, including:

  • Day-to-Day Support: From maintenance tasks to coordinating emergency response, we help keep things running smoothly
  • Estates Support: Assist with portering, cleaning, security, landscaping, recycling, waste disposal and emergency support
  • Customer Engagement: Ensuring staff are aware of the full range of services offered by Estates & Facilities
  • Service Satisfaction: Working on behalf of our customers to define and achieve agreed service levels
  • Quality Monitoring: Overseeing service delivery by internal teams and external providers and set up reviews within the Directorate
  • Maintenance & Upgrades: Assist with developing long-term maintenance plans and small works programmes
  • Space Management: Providing analysis, reviews, and guidance—including support with leases and space planning
  • Project Delivery: Supporting both minor works and major capital developments
  • Funding & Reporting: Contributing to funding applications and statistical returns
  • Decoration & Refurbishment: Coordinating upgrades to improve the campus environment
  • University Events: Assist with coordination of events such as Graduation, Welcome Week and Open Days
