House Services

The Management Team consists of an Operations/House Services Manager and a Deputy House Services Manager.

A front line team comprising of a Building Superintendent and/or Deputy Building Superintendent manages each building.

We also have a dedicated Finance and Administration section located in the main House Services office within Beyer Building.

The Unit is arranged geographically with staff being responsible for service delivery to specific buildings on campus. A contact list for all staff by building can be found on the tab to the left.

Service Outline

House Services provide internal building cleaning and associated services to staff, students and visitors in academic and administrative buildings both on and off campus.

The off-site buildings are at The Firs, WMIC, Broomcroft, Jodrell Bank and Dalton Cumbria.

Building cleaning is the primary function of House Services but as can be seen below the operation encompasses much more than this:
