Feminine Hygiene
Providing female washroom visitors with a discrete and hygienic way to dispose of feminine hygiene waste is a vital consideration for the provision of a clean and pleasant washroom environment.
The safe disposal of feminine hygiene waste is essential to ensure our business complies with:

The Duty of Care Regulations 1991
Waste Disposal Service
House Services are responsible foir the procurement and management of the feminine hygiene contract.
In most cases the contractor provides your washroom cubicles with a sanitary disposal bin. In some areas the bin is provided within the washroom itself and sanitary bags are available within the cubicles.
A fully trained service engineer will perform a regular scheduled visit to remove any feminine hygiene waste ensuring a consistantly high level of hygiene is maintained within the washroom.
To comply with UK legislation a waste transfer certificate is provided at the end of each service.
If you have any concerns about the frequecny of service please contact your relevant building supervisor.
