Portering Provision
House Services have approximately 400 Building Attendants complete daily cleaning, portering and postal duties within each buildings.
Our staff are trained to NVQ 2 in Cleaning Building Support (or equivalent), and General Health and Safety Awareness, and are able to provide a range of services other than cleaning.
Our House Services Team provides the following services:

Postal delivery and collection.

Furniture removal/relocation to include small office moves.

Deliveries and transportation of small items across the campus.

Staff lodges / receptions when work schedules allow.

Provide direction and information on University facilities to all visitors, staff and students.

Fault reporting to the Estates Helpdesk

Supporting Cermonial duties and Examinations.

Staff out of hours events.
